Kathy Nossaman
Kathy is a Financial Advisor for the New York Stock Exchange firm of Edward Jones for the past 25 years. Kathy spent ten years in Austin as a first-grade teacher before marrying Warren and moving to Seguin in 1988. Moving to a small town after growing up in Fort Worth and living in Austin was a new adventure. After a few months in town, Kathy began volunteering with the Mid-Texas Symphony Guild, an organization she continues to serve today as Debutante Committee Chair. She also served 27 years on the Mid-Texas Symphony Board of Directors as president for four years and held various vice-president positions during her term. Kathy is the past-chair of numerous organizations and boards: the Mid-Texas Symphony Guild, Seguin Chapter; the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce; the Seguin Economic Development Corporation; Seguin Sunrise Rotary Club; The Seguin-Guadalupe County Senior Citizen’s Center; the Central Texas Technology Center Advisory Board. She received the Seguin Gazette-Enterprise Citizen of the Year and Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award in 2003. During her career with Edward Jones, Kathy has served as a mentor and trainer for numerous new financial advisors and currently works with the hiring department, interviewing candidates for the financial advisor position. Over the past 30 years, Kathy has become entrenched in the Seguin Community and is happy to call Seguin home. Kathy and Warren have included the Seguin Area Community Foundation in their estate plan to continue their support of Seguin organizations in perpetuity.
